The Corrosion Science Society of Korea is organizing the Asia-Pacific Galvanizing Conference 2009 (AP Galva 2009) which will be held in Jeju island, Korea, November 8 through 12, 2009. AP Galva 2009 is designed to focus on the latest developments in the science and technology of galvanizing sheet steel production and applications. To make AP Galva 2009 be a learning conference, a series of 3 forums is planned to overview the trend and future of the highest priority topics for the galvanizing industry. Each forum will be organized by an invited distinguished expert who will also lead the open discussion.
Experts from both commercial organizations and academic institutions are encouraged to present their findings from recent research and development activities. An exhibition by steel manufactures and equipment suppliers will be held along with a comprehensive technical program. Technical tour is also planned to visit the latest continuous galvanizing production facility in Korea. AP Galva 2009 will also provide an ideal opportunity to build a good friendship with peers and authorities.
Jeju island is a volcanic island, known as the 'Island of Honeymoon.' Jeju island offers wonderful scenery of Mt. Halla and many excellent ways to taste her history, culture, and people. Jeju island is the first autonomous province in Korea and requires no entry visa.
